The fully automated driving multiplies the legacy ADAS challenges and introduces new ones in related SoC and Platform architectures. Dramatically increased requirements to sensor fusion and processing performance are in contradiction with targets to keep platform cost sensible, power low and safety high.
EyeQ®5 processor is a 5th generation of SoC from Mobileye and is aimed to provide competitive solution to these challenges, by delivering the HPC capabilities within a low-power envelope, at highest safety and security levels.
