High performance data analytics (HPDA) is where Big Data Analytics and HPC come together and it’s expected to be one of the fundamental growth drivers.
These technologies will be applied in the development of the hybrid virtual twin, a dynamic virtual model that uses sensor feedback to monitor the behavior of the physical model to predict, and preemptively correct, failures. It is the combination of theory-based and data-based modeling for decision making. The former builds cause-effect relationships to explore the possibility of future events. The latter updates the hybrid model with the 'as encountered' conditions in real life operations based on up to date IoT information.
